Lewis and Lewis you know this will certainly cause the GLBT community to feel welcome to the Christian community...NOT...this sort of hatred will continue causing them to be pushed out...this is pure ignorance...i think your time would be better spent by singing about the salvation, love and forgiveness Jesus offers…

Learn more about a special concert event coming up this October to honor Bill's friend and hero, Jake Hess! Jake Hess Tribute Concert Civic Center Arena Columbus, Georgia October 9, 2008 Dear Friends, There are a lot of pioneer artists who have made a major impact on all of our lives, and if there was a list of the top 10 most influential pioneers in gospel music, the name Jake Hess would certainly be on it. The impact he made on the music industry - and on so many individual lives - is truly immeasurable. I know there will be interest all over the country from folks who want to be a part of this special tribute, so I hope you will start making plans to attend. We have invited a great line-up of artists for this celebration, including: The Gaither Vocal Band, Janet Paschal, Taranda Greene, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Ivan Parker, Karen Peck and New River, Jeff and Sheri Easter, Gordon Mote, Kevin Williams, and all of Jake's kids... Kirk Talley Celebrates 50th Birthday With SurprisePosted on 06/10 at 02:03 PM
Dot Shultz and Tony Gore surprised Kirk Talley with a surprise 50th Birthday Party. "Last night was wonderful. I was scheduled to help Tony at the Restaurant, but when I arrived, there were black balloons, and 50th Birthday decorations everywhere . I walked in and there were tables and chairs in places where they have never been before. Dot was smiling proudly so I just began to laugh. Friends started pouring into the restaurant and in a matter of minutes, it was filled to capacity. Over one hundred people filled the restaurant, so needless to say.....I went to work! We were carrying ribs and pork and banana pudding and sweet lemon pie to everyone. Friends from Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Wisconsin, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, and of course Tennessee, sure made the night a lot of fun. The Galloways, Lulu Roman, Connie Hopper, Landon Beene of the Beenes, The Talley Trio, Tim Owen of the Testimony Qt, Randall Hunley, Jordan Amburn, and of course Tony Gore, completed the list of Artists who were there. Cards and gifts were stacked up by the door, and the party was ON. We laughed and ate and sang and laughed a lot more, turned some "non party" patrons away (Sorry Tony). Later in the night, I was blindfolded and slowly walked and sat down in the most amazing gift! Dot had organized ( she should run for public office) the Krew and you guys and gals went together and got me the best gift ever, a massage chair! They plugged it up and brought it in the door and when I sat down in it, still blindfolded, it began doing it's thing! Up and down my back, my feet, my neck, my arms......I didn't want to get up!!! I just sat there and enjoyed it for a while! I LOVE IT. Of course, I got a lot of "old people products"......everything from Geritol to reading glasses, (which I already have).... a jug of syrup, and then some other great gifts too. Shirts, Ties, gift cards, cash, checks, picture frames, chocolates, all kinds of things......Man, oh man, I was like a kid at Christmas. Let me say, THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart. It was a great night that I will always remember. Thanks to all the Krew members who pitched in and made the massage chair possible! I will use it every night. As a matter of fact....Pastor Joe Copolo helped me unload it and set it up at my house, and I sat in it for about 30 minutes before I went to bed last night. Thank you to everyone who sent cards and gifts.....I am amazed...It took me 30 minutes to open all the cards......that's not a complaint!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH'
