This song was not written with a hateful heart but out of compassion for Souls. Everyone needs to make thier own choice this song was written to shine light on a truth that is clearly covered in Gods word.

Lewis and Lewis you know this will certainly cause the GLBT community to feel welcome to the Christian community...NOT...this sort of hatred will continue causing them to be pushed out...this is pure ignorance...i think your time would be better spent by singing about the salvation, love and forgiveness Jesus offers…

Be the first to hear songs from this April 24th release! Track listing newly added... The Isaacs' newest recording, BIG SKY, accesses a deep well of ability and reveals a side we've never seen before of these talented artists. With incredible new songs, many of which were collaborations between Sonya and Becky Isaacs and other great Nashville songwriters, plus incredible instrumentation including orchestration and sounds they never knew they could make with bluegrass instruments, BIG SKY reveals the potential that has always existed but never fully expressed. BIG SKY breaks new ground and is, without a doubt, The Isaacs' best work yet. Listen here
Booth Brothers BlizzardPosted on 03/29 at 01:35 PM
Try saying that 3 times as fast as you can... Booth Brothers Blizzard. The BB office received word last night from the Wyoming Highway patrol that the guys are on the side of the road in Wyoming trapped due to bad weather (snow, ice, etc.) Thus far, they have not heard from them. But according to a message board posting they seemed to be fine, but had no cell phone access. Please pray for the guys' safety.

Songwriters Push ThroughPosted on 03/27 at 02:34 PM
I'm sorry if I'm bursting anyone's perceptions that songwriters just sit at a piano and the words fall from heaven like raindrops, but it's mostly just pushing through. It's a horrible way to spend the day. And I wouldn't change it for anything in the world! " One of the statements made by Joel Lindsey in his recent blog post on Vacation Boy. Joel talks about the experience of being a Nashville Songwriter hoping to make the cut. We hope you get that cut too!! Read more
Pirates BewarePosted on 03/27 at 02:25 PM
Another great article on piracy in southern gospel. The Musicscribe fills in a few gaps that the SouthernGospelBlog left open in its interviews with Scott Fowler, Gerald Wolfe and Daniel Ball. "Digital Rights Management (DRM) serves only to make life more difficult for LEGAL users. As soon as the music industry wises up and stops making life more difficult for people who are willing to pay for their products, the better off they will be." - MS There is much to be said about digital downloads (or the lack thereof) in southern gospel music, but let's suffice it to say, that the SG Industry needs to be less fearful of digital downloads and find a way to get on board. As usual the industry is way behind in keeping up with the latest. Will artists, record labels, songwriters lose money with digital downloads? Maybe a little, but probably no more than they are already losing from the record table by the people who burn CDs and pass them on. This was a problem with the cassette, the CD and now it will be a problem with digital. But, hey, let's not throw the baby out with the bath water. Jesus made the statement that the poor will always be with us. We could easily ammend that to include, the "pirates" will always be with us.
Dove Brothers rebuild a community with songPosted on 03/26 at 03:32 PM
Although this has already been mentioned in a news release, it bears looking at again. The Dove Brothers are helping out a community by participating in a benefit concert to help rebuild a church destroyed by fire. "When we heard about the fire, we immediately wanted to do what we could for Memorial Baptist," said McCray Dove, lead vocalist for The Dove Brothers, the Horizon Group of the Year in 1999. "The ministry programs at this church touch so many lives in our community and beyond, and we hope this concert will help them regain momentum." Read more
Russ Taff, A Most Recognizable VoicePosted on 03/26 at 02:44 PM
Bill Gaither is releasing two unique projects featuring Russ Taff. Russ and Bill have been close friends for close to three decades, and Bill sums up his friend Russ pretty well: "Russ has one of the most recognizable voices ever to take the gospel music world by storm. His energy and charisma on-stage is matched only by his integrity and kindness off stage. He's been the cheerleader for all of us." This article on Gaithernet is an interesting look into the heart and soul of Russ Taff. Personally, I look forward to these two new releases.
