This song was not written with a hateful heart but out of compassion for Souls. Everyone needs to make thier own choice this song was written to shine light on a truth that is clearly covered in Gods word.

Lewis and Lewis you know this will certainly cause the GLBT community to feel welcome to the Christian community...NOT...this sort of hatred will continue causing them to be pushed out...this is pure ignorance...i think your time would be better spent by singing about the salvation, love and forgiveness Jesus offers…

Dove Brothers Increase ONLINE/MAIL ORDER Prices Only

Posted on 05/30 at 12:25 PM

Straight from the Office of the Dove Brothers:

Since we released our pricing changes. Some were concerned about how it would effect merchandise pricing at concerts. This pricing is for our online store ONLY! Due to shipping costs as well as the handling charges, we are having to raise our prices to compensate for this. This does NOT effect concert merchandise. These are seperate departments for us. Sorry if there was any confusion about this.

Now, we have just received word from our record company that we can now release our entire recording catalog through our digital downloads store. That's right! Soon you will be able to purchase and download Life, Never The Same, Anything But Ordinary or down to the first recording done through Crossroads Music. You can buy one song or purchase the whole album! Mix and match songs that you want on your very own Dove Brothers recording. All of your favorite songs downloadable for you to make your own Dove Brothers favorites CD!

Also, we are working on some great deals that you can only get through our online store and we will have more on that once they are finalized! So be looking out for these things to come in the near future!

Come On Down To The Farm

Posted on 05/21 at 01:22 PM

On Tuesday evening, May 13th, the music video, "Come On Down To The Farm" hit both YouTube and GodTube on the internet. The song has literally exploded with over fifteen thousand hits within the first seven days.

Written by Rick Wingerter and performed by Lewis & Lewis, the song is a light-hearted, humorous look at the serious social problems of homosexually and same-sex marriage. The timing could not have been more perfect for the duo since the video went up on the web two days before the landmark ruling by California's Supreme Court overturning a law which prohibited same-sex marriage in that state.

The song is obviously being applauded by the conservative church-world while drawing fire from gay rights activists. One thing is sure, "Farm" is reaching new audiences heretofore inaccessible to gospel music and Lewis & Lewis are making a multitude of new friends (and a few enemies) for their uncompromising stand.

Lewis & Lewis can be contacted at . Their website address is http://www.lewisandlewis.org

Jason Waldroup, Music and Worship Pastor for Central Baptist Church, Katy, TX

Posted on 05/05 at 04:13 PM

This past Sunday (5/4), Pastor Larry Maddox and the congregation of Central Baptist Church in Katy, Texas (near Houston) unanimously extended an invitation for Jason to join the staff of the church as their Music and Worship Pastor. He will begin his ministry there on Sunday August 10. Since much of Jason's time will be consumed with studying, his wife, Missy, will be assisting him with his responsibilities at the church. They will be working as a team in the Music Department, which is a really exciting opportunity for both of them, as well as for the church. Many people are not aware of Missy's extensive background in Church Music and Studio Production, so she will be a tremendous asset to both Jason and the Music Program at Central.

Gary McSpadden Home Damaged By Flood Waters

Posted on 04/28 at 01:14 PM

In the recent floods in the Branson area, floodwaters overtook the home of Gary and Carol McSpadden , and the lower level was completely under water. The floor of their second level was only 18 inches above the waterline. You can see some photos of their flooded home on Gary’s website: http://www.garysings.com .

Dino and Cheryl live close by, but, being on higher ground, the water had only covered their driveway and onto their garage floor. But both homes were only reachable by boat. The water has now receded, and cleanup and repairs have begun, and there will need to be considerable work done to Gary and Carol’s house.

So please remember to pray for both Gary and Carol, and Dino and Cheryl, that they be spared any further damage, and that blessings will come from this.
