The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatever that it is not utterly absurd; indeed in view of the silliness of the majority of mankind, a widespread belief is more likely to be foolish than sensible.

Danny Jones blogs about the Kingsmen's 50th Anniversary Concert: As I write this, I'm sitting in the Memorial Auditorium in Chattanooga, Tennessee. About 150 feet in front me is a massive stage that is being prepped for another concert - but this is not just your typical concert. Tonight, the Kingsmen celebrate 50 years and from my vantage point, I see Mark Trammell, Tim Surrett, Tim Lovelace, Jerry Martin, Greg Fox, Squire Parsons, Bryan Hutson, Wayne Maynard, Johnny Parrack, Ray Reese, Tony Peace, Chris Collins, Andrew Ishee, Garry Sheppard and many others. They're running over a few songs, and in the words of Squire, "man, we sang those songs high back then, didn't we?" (For you musicians out there, you humorously realize that song keys are being dropped like bombs right now!) Page 1 of 1 pages Comments |
