The fact that an opinion has been widely held is no evidence whatever that it is not utterly absurd; indeed in view of the silliness of the majority of mankind, a widespread belief is more likely to be foolish than sensible.

Booth Brothers Blizzaed Blight OverPosted on Apr 01, 2007 - 08:44 PM
We received the following message from the BB Office: Well, we can finally close the story on the Booth Brothers exciting wintertime adventure. They will be home this afternoon. After we sent our last email, a gracious farmer came along with a tractor and assisted the guys in getting the bus to the nearest town which was Sheridan, Wyoming. The interstate was still closed so the guys spent some more hours waiting it out. It was sometime on Saturday when they were allowed to depart - and depart they did! It's been nice to be able to reach them via cell phone. Hey, did you know there used to be a day when NO ONE had a cell phone?? How did we do it?! Speaking of talking to the guys, they all wanted me to be sure to thank so many people. First, all the folks who surrounded them with help in the form of warmth, diesel fuel, snowmobile rides, etc., etc. The people of Wyoming and the many truckers on the road truly poured out their hearts of generosity. So many of you sent emails - more than we can respond to - expressing your thoughts and prayers. We really appreciate them. Once they're home a few days, we'll get a more thorough accounting and put something on our website. To those of you that we missed seeing at the cancelled concerts, we sincerely apologize. We are looking at dates to reschedule these. God Bless all of you! Bob Crichton - Business Manag Page 1 of 1 pages Comments |
