Lewis and Lewis you know this will certainly cause the GLBT community to feel welcome to the Christian community...NOT...this sort of hatred will continue causing them to be pushed out...this is pure ignorance...i think your time would be better spent by singing about the salvation, love and forgiveness Jesus offers…

Michael English After Bottoming Out

Posted on Mar 16, 2008 - 05:13 PM

Michael English stated, "English: It got to a place where I was basically homeless. I didn't have any money anymore. I had exhausted every avenue trying to support the drug habit that I had. I was selling anything and everything that I could find that was worth anything on eBay. I didn't have a voice. I couldn't even sing anymore. I lost my reputation, my life, my family, my finances, my home and my voice, so I had nothing. I felt like I couldn't be a Christian unless I was a Christian singer and it was over for me. I was so glad to see you singing again. We all have an addiction of some sort whether it be food , shopping, drugs, alcohol but we can overcome with God's help and lots of prayers from the people who love us, You still have a great voice and I was always one of your fans regardless of your problems. WE
can overcome with God;s help. Gail

Micheal,
You have a beautiful voice and good that you are back to doing what God's wants of you.
We have a son who is on drugs and the only answer is to leave it with God.

GOD bless you for being so open and honest. Your testimony will definitely help ALL of us, no matter to what depth the addiction. GOD will restore all that was lost. My prayers are with you. Jackie M.

Never give up on trusting God to make you an over comer. You are an inspiration to many people who have walked in your shoes. Being allowed to sing for Jesus is just an added bonus. Stay strong in the Lord and keep speaking the truth in love.
God bless you.
