This song was not written with a hateful heart but out of compassion for Souls. Everyone needs to make thier own choice this song was written to shine light on a truth that is clearly covered in Gods word.

Lewis and Lewis you know this will certainly cause the GLBT community to feel welcome to the Christian community...NOT...this sort of hatred will continue causing them to be pushed out...this is pure ignorance...i think your time would be better spent by singing about the salvation, love and forgiveness Jesus offers…

Michael English, The Prodigal Returns to The RoadPosted on Apr 05, 2008 - 02:19 PM
There is a great interview on Michael English concerning his return to the road and his new release, The Prodigal. "It doesn't get much better than being on the stage and singing a song and feeling the emotions that go through you and knowing that you're at the right place at the right time, as far as God is concerned," he said. English started out with the Singing Samaritans, a Southern Gospel group that included members of his family. Throughout the '70s, he sang with the Samaritans, with whom he would stay until the mid-'80s, except for short stints with the Happy Goodmans and the Couriers. He joined one of Southern Gospel's most lasting and influential groups, the Gaither Vocal Band in 1984. Am I wrong about that? PJ / The Prophets I've seen Michael English in concert twice in the last several years at a little Church down in Mt. Airy, Maryland. He's great - even if it's not Southern Gospel. Michael had at least one stint with the Singing Americans, if not two. I believe he was with them for a short time before he joined the Happy Goodmans. After Ivan Parker left to join Gold City, Michael rejoined. Among his recordings with the Singing Americans are "Live And Alive" and "Black And White." In my opinion, Michael English is the best singer that there is and deserves every award he's ever received. No one comes close to Michael's singing, especially now, when he IS the Prodigal Son who understands and remembers where he was and now, has come home! Welcome Home, Michael...now, go kill the fatted calf for My Son has come home.... Page 1 of 1 Comment Pages |

Sorry to dissapoing everybody. Michael is not returning to his roots due to the fact he started in quartet music that was great to listen to. Now he is jiving with his music. I wish Michael the prodigal son would return to his roots. And if he did, he would be hard to beat.
